The aims of the International Neurosurgery Course (INC) - Malaga 2017 of the Neurosurgery Research Listserv are to educate, stimulate and inspire the next generation of neurosurgery leaders. It is a bespoken course, having limited places with high faculty-to-delegate ratio.

The course is held in partnership with the Department of Neurosurgery, Carlos Hoya Hospital, Malaga and endorsed by:

  • Department of Neurological Surgery, Penn State University, Pennsylvania, US
  • Spanish Society of Neurosurgery
  • Young Neurosurgeons Forum (YNF) of the WFNS
  • Foundation of the WFNS

The faculty include internationally renowned neurosurgeons from South America, North America, Europe and Asia.
The course is designed to be relevant, dynamic and stimulating to residents and young neurosurgeons

In addition to neurosurgical education it is hoped the course will impart the humane, rich and great cultural traditions of neurosurgery upon the delegates through the international and distinguished faculty and, provide contacts and friendships that will stay through their careers. The Beautiful, warm and historical settings of Malaga would be the location for this.

The venue of the course is the historical building of the Rectory of the University of Malaga in the centre of Malaga by the shore-line and adjacent to the Malaga Castle.
